"I Think I Know Why He May Be Mentioning 'Demons' In His Name. I Think He's Tanked."
-- RD Reynolds on yours truly from the 10/2 episode of "Wrestlecrap Radio".

Guess what time it is? It's "Random Thoughts" time. The column where I take news items or things unable to fill a column; like how cool vampires were, add a teenage girl and a really "flimsy" vampire whose skin sparkles like diamonds (diamonds, REALLY?!?) and turn it into a column but only much more manly. Also this is the column where I answer anything that you send me in the form of an e-mail, a MySpace message, and now a Twitter direct message. In exchange I'll answer it for you right here and I will promote or shill for you for anything. Word of Mouth advertising is one of the greatest ways to promote what a person has don't you know?

No "Mailbag" this time around because it’s time to give you all the readers a little status update on the columns. For those that haven't read the columns or followed the MySpace Blogs or Tweets I'm in college at the moment. And right now I'm taking an English Class which the main objective is to write and complete a Research Paper. In fact that is my Final. My Professor told me I have to write about either my major, which is Operations Management, OR write about a topic that my Professor gave me that I wrote down in a brainstorming session. That topic..."The Public Option". For those of my non-U.S. Readers "The Public Option" is the United States plan to create a National Health Care Program. So right now I'm literally, in the written sense, stuck between a rock and a hard place. To try and imagine what I'm going through right now let's say you have to decide on who's the best wrestler of all time between Kevin Nash (NOW in TNA) and Chris Masters. Yeah. That's what I'm going through. So starting now until Christmas time I'll be submitting the columns on a bi-weekly schedule because I have to concentrate all my efforts on not only writing this pain-in-the-ass Research Paper, but the "2009 Year In Review" column is coming up as well. Luckily I have most of "The Data File" already done thanks to a new tactic I'm using to write it but I still have to do title researches and so on. So if you were wondering what's going on with me. Now you know.

Enough of "My So-Called Life". Let's get to the real reason why you are all here.

Let's start off with...

1. Well kind of pro-wrestling related but the big news that has been covered as of late is Brock Lesnar's "mysterious illness". An illness so serious that Lesnar pulled out of his "UFC 106" fight which could cost him dropping his UFC World Heavyweight Title due to illness. At first the news came out that it was Mono. Then a local news station out of Minnesota broke the news saying that it could be diverticulitis which is a very nasty intestinal condition. Now the truth is out. Not only was the diverticulitis was right but Lesnar had a hole in one of his intestines that was leaking into his stomach! And to make matters worse that hole created abscesses (like a collection of pus) which made it a lot worse. Lesnar is out of the hospital now trying to make a full recovery. The status of his MMA career is unknown at the moment. UFC President Dana White is worried that he'll never fight again while Lesnar's MMA trainer thinks he can bounce back pretty soon. Whatever is going on to Brock Lesnar and his future. I'm giving a "shout-out" to Lesnar hoping he will get healthy real soon.

2. In other pro-wrestling related but not really news. Shane McMahon has been busy as of late. Ever since Shane-O-Mac announced his resignation he's been seen, according to "rumors", hanging around UFC headquarters. UFC President Dana White did confirm that he did see Shane-O-Mac but that's it. "Rumors" have been spreading from Shane-O-Mac wanting a position in UFC to promote the company internationally, something that Shane-O-Mac has experienced in since he was in charge of International promotions & the WWE.com website, to actually buying a piece of UFC. Of course most recently those "rumors" have been proven false. Either way you look at it I think we might have the reason why Vince McMahon was pissed at Shane-O-Mac leaving WWE. If Shane-O-Mac is interested in joining with UFC, or UFC's national competition Strikeforce if Shane-O-Mac considers it, that would make either one of those MMA promotions a major threat to WWE. I'll update you more on the news as it progresses.

3. Speaking of causing news. Everybody knows by now that Hulk Hogan is creating a pro wrestling tour in Australia. This right now is having some success according to my Australian contacts. But most recently Hogan caused a lot of commotion on his news conference of the tour. Hogan and his opponent Ric Flair caused one hell of a beat down. This beat down was so graphic that Hogan was bleeding like crazy. We found out later on that the whole thing was a storyline to promote the tour. So why did this get so much notoriety in Australia while in the United States it wouldn't get noticed? Well according to my Australian contacts, Australians fans don't really get much live pro wrestling down in that area so they didn't know it was staged. Furthermore according to my Australian contacts, the Australian web sites were getting a lot of web hits from the pictures of the Hogan/Flair bloodbath so they decided to hype it up even more. With the end result is being the pro wrestling news sites & TMZ getting the story.

4. Back to Hulk Hogan. Everybody knows by now that Hogan is now with TNA. Hogan has been telling people in interviews that he will be "running" TNA. But that is not what is scaring me as of late with this whole Hogan/TNA deal. While promoting for the pro wrestling tour in Australia Hogan talked to a local radio station in Perth, Australia. When asked what will be Hogan's role working for TNA, Hogan came up with a long answer which ends with the following response; "I'm gonna pick the whole wrestling business up and body slam it and whoever's not on my team - on Team Hogan at TNA - they're gonna be at the bottom of the pile. Just like I did in the early 90s, once I went to work for Eric Bischoff and Ted Turner they became the number one wrestling promotion in the world." Urm...Is it me or should I be REALLY afraid of TNA after that statement? First WCW was number one for a bit but in the end it went bankrupt & bought out by WWE thanks to a lot of reasons most of it being backstage politics created by Hogan. Second Hogan did create his own pro wrestling promotion a long time ago that tanked in the end. Third Hogan did have his own business "Pastamania" that ended up going bankrupt. And finally Hogan is well known for letting his friends get jobs in the company and getting insane pushes while other stars get nothing. After this recent interview I'm afraid that TNA will start going down the crapper.

5. Speaking of TNA. TNA recently fired a couple of pro wrestlers. Jethro Holiday & Sojourner Bolt were let go. Reason? Simple they didn't have anything for them. Sojourner Bolt was the one that hurt me the most. I have high respect for her for selling her ass off in the Sharmell/Jenna Morasca match and she didn't even wrestle! Sojourner Bolt even helped out a returning Christy Hemme from injury and made her look good. Don't worry though because both of them landed on their feet. Jethro Holiday has his own restaurant so he will be running that for awhile, like Armando Alleandro Estrada. While Sojourner Bolt is going back to her roots by working for OVW as a trainer. Best of luck for the both of them in their futures.

6. Does anybody out there like Smackdown/ECW Ring Announcer Lauren Mayhew? Well if you do your out of luck because she just quit WWE after just recently debuting a month ago on WWE TV. The reason why Mayhew quit? Well according to her Twitter account: ""No longer ring announcing on WWE for the time being because I will be focusing (sp) on my acting and music in the new year. I will miss my new friends." Mayhew has a part in a straight-to-DVD movie which she was rumored to be topless but Mayhew says she won't be. Mayhew can come back to WWE whenever she wants. Honestly. Didn't see anything really special on her so I won't care about her that much.

7. Back to WWE & Divas. I'm not happy as of late. Everybody knows that Mickie James is now on Smackdown with the reason being that its punishment for her wrestling really crappy in the ring and for her being fat. And all the people that read these columns know I am royally pissed over this. Well now thanks to last week's Smackdown I'm even angrier than before. I'm talking about the "Piggy James" video where Layla & "Skeletor" Michelle McCool basically call Mickie James fat. This will backfire on WWE big time. Well starting off with "Skeletor" isn't what you call a great representative of womanhood when she sleeps her way to the top, lies about having breast implants, and is so skinny she can be mistaken for one of the Anorexic Twins on "The Insider". Adding to this the whole "Piggy James" thing is actually another punishment at Mickie James. This is WWE's way of telling her that Mickie James is a "fatty-fat-fat-fat" that needs to lose weight. Oh yeah that helps out like all of the other women who are really overweight to lose weight by making fun of them, even though I'm not defending them since my history of fat women at times can equal that of Al Bundy for some odd reason at times. Also this could be bordering on the lines of sexual harassment which Mickie James could use to sue WWE for if she ever leaves disgruntled. Last time WWE did something similar like this they were forced to pay a settlement out of court to an ex-WWE Diva. Who would that be? Well that would be the "Wrestler's Rescue" founder herself Dawn Marie when she sued WWE when they fired her for being pregnant and WWE paid her an out-of-court settlement. This is a slippery slope that WWE is playing with and I hope Mickie James does sue them for this crap one day. Make me smile from ear-to-ear.

8. Back to WWE. Want to hear something scary? WWE is actually putting someone else in a WWE Title Match on RAW that isn't "Kal-El" John Cena, Triple H, or "Everybody's Favorite Douchebag" Randy Orton! Well Cena has the title so I guess that doesn't count. Sheamus is getting a WWE Title match at WWE's next Pay-Per-View "WWE Tables, Ladders, & Chairs". That would make it a year since someone different on RAW was in the World Title matches. A year! Sheamus right now is looking vicious. But honestly between you and me I think Sheamus should be a part of "Pale Force" with Jim Gaffigan & Conan O'Brien. Just sayin'.

9. Update on the "Linda-Tron 2600" a.k.a. Linda McMahon's Senatorial run. The Connecticut Post revealed Linda & Vince McMahon's true wealth, since it’s the rules of politics that you have to list your assets, and they are worth well over...$500 MILLION DOLLARS! Furthermore Linda McMahon is using an estimated...$3 MILLION DOLLARS to her campaign. The Connecticut Post says in their article that Linda McMahon's own money immediately blows away all other Republican candidates in any sort of campaigning. It's like The Republican Party has their own Ross Perot minus the charts but amplifying the boring aspect. Also Courant.com interviewed "Superstar" Billy Graham about Linda McMahon's Senatorial run. While Graham does contradict himself at times during the interview by calling himself "disgruntled", Graham did call out Linda McMahon & WWE for the same reasons most of us has for covering up their past and calling themselves "PG Programming". I think that is something Graham & I can agree on. WWE may call themselves "PG Programming" right now all they want but the past is the past and WWE will be judged for all the bad sexual stuff they did from Tranny Love (Mark Henry & "Sammy"), Necrophilia ("Katie Vick"), and lots more which does include if things going in the right way the "Piggy James" video. Billy Kidman's WWE Theme is right when it comes to Linda McMahon hiding WWE's past, "You can run, but you can't hide!"

10. And finally. I rarely do this but there are some things that the pro wrestling news sites miss on news wise. This is one of them. Couple of weeks ago I attended a local event where a TNA Knockout was being honored. That Knockout would be Tara. Tara along with NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, Democrat Congressman Joe Baca, and other local celebrities were inducted in the "Rialto Sports Hall Of Fame" for their athletic contributions. Each of them gave a speech and they were given huge plaques that would be a part of their Hall Of Fame. Learned a little something about Tara too that was completely unexpected. Tara was a cheerleader in High School! When I think of TNA Knockouts & Cheerleaders; Christy Hemme, Taylor Wilde, & The Beautiful People immediately come to mind. But Tara?!? Tara took pictures with the fans holding her plaque and everybody had a good time.

In fact here's a picture that I took with my cell phone of the inductees holding their plaques.

And with that I think I will end this column.

Until next time. (right click it).
